Laetrile is the refined name for amygdalin which is found in bitter apricot seeds as well as some 1200 other seeds, beans and plants. Apple seeds and lima beans are just a couple of the highly consumed foods with amygdalin in them, its just not as high as the levels in bitter apricot seeds. It's called B17 as it meets the requirements of a supplement rather than a chemical drug which is syntheticly manufactured.
Pioneers in the use of apricot seeds were the Krebs, Dr. John Richardson Sr. and Dr. Harold Manner. In the 1970's, although studies probably designed to show its failure to help cancer patients, resulted in it apparently being outlawed in 1963. So what Drs. Richardson and Manner was doing was at great personal risk, yet they charged ahead when they were seeing tremendous results when helping patients with cancer utilize apricot seeds to erradicate cancer from many of their patients. Subsequently, Dr. Richardson had his practice raided, shutdown and arrested, eventually the state of California revoking his medical license. We owe just about everything to Drs. Richardson and Manner for staying the course and paving the way even if its taken us nearly 45 years to bring it back into the light.

Dr. Richardson had become friends with G. Edward Griffin through the John Birch Society. Edward had become famous for his expose' of the Federal Reserve Bank in his book "The Creature of Jeckel Island" when the "elites" of the time back in 1913 got together to introduce the idea of central banking and the Federal Reserve Bank which is NOT federal, has NO reserves and is NOT a bank. John convinced Edward to write a book about erradicating kannsir, now in its 4th printing, "A World Without Cancer" or the movie

First, the seeds and refined capsules do contain a poison, in a locked configuration, which only gets unlocked inside of kannsir cells. As to why it doesn't work against your regular cells is because they contain an enzyme called Rodinase which miraculously neutralizes and makes this locked poison inert, much like what vitamin c does when it neutralizes viruses and toxins. There are people groups around the world who have eaten apricot seeds for generations yet they have no sign of kannsir. At the "Operation World Without Cancer" conference in Scottsdale, AZ in November 2024, G. Edward Griffin spoke to us via Zoom, at the age of 94 he lives and acts out that belief that people who eat just a few apricot seeds each week will not die of cancer. That's a pretty bold statement, but what he's seen over the past 50 years qualifies him to make just such a statement.
